[Published 29 March 2021] Ofgem has published its final Forward Work Programme (FWP) for 2021/22, and is interested in any feedback on the document.

CEO, Jonathan Brearley has set out in an accompanying blog, viewed at: https://www.ofgem.gov.uk/news-blog/our- ... -consumers how this marks an important milestone in Ofgem's work to protect the interests of energy consumers, including their collective interest in tackling climate change. This comes at a critical time as Ofgem continues to work with government and industry to support consumers as the country emerges from the COVID-19 crisis, and to drive forward decarbonisation of the energy system ahead of November’s COP26 climate change summit in Glasgow.

The FWP document is available to read at https://www.ofgem.gov.uk/publications-a ... me-202122

About the Forward Work Programme
The FWP sets out the activities that will help Ofgem to deliver its new Strategic Framework, which was well supported by stakeholders in their responses to the FWP consultation. We will focus our resources on our five strategic change programmes – alongside our core regulatory responsibilities and environmental and social scheme delivery – in order to achieve the greatest impact and help to deliver the transition to net-zero in the interests of consumers.
