ECO3: LA Flexible Eligibility (LA Flex)
Your views
BEIS would like to thank ALEO for the opportunity to contribute to your e-newsletter. We anticipate that we will contribute on a quarterly basis, and will pass on anything that we think might be useful for you to know or in seeking your views. ECO3 runs until March 2022, which although may sound a fair way off, BEIS are considering early ideas for a successor scheme, including any learnings from ECO. As part of this, we would like to ask you for your views on LA Flex so far, and if you could spare 5 minutes of your time to complete the following short questionnaire https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/HTY5ZB5. This will help BEIS understand your householder targeting approaches within your LA Flex Statement of Intent.

Energy Supplier contacts
If you are looking to engage with energy suppliers for LA Flex, please use the supplier contact page which can be found on Ofgem’s website Ofgem ECO supplier contact details. This contains details of all the obligated suppliers.

LA Flex stats
And finally…the latest ECO Statistics which were published by BEIS on 17th October. Up to 25 per cent of ECO3 can be delivered through LA Flex, and 19 per cent of this obligation has been delivered through LA Flex up to August 2019. Between April 2017 and June 2019, 112 local authorities had seen 50 or more measures installed through LA Flex, and 15 of these had over 500 measures installed.
