Hi Rachael
Thank you, I had already asked Lynsey for details of a bespoke course.
Kind regards
Lisa

City & Guilds Energy Awareness courses
Hello everyone,
I am looking to put one person through the above course ASAP somewhere that isn't beyond sensible daily commute from mid Wiltshire. Does anyone know of any courses being run in the region that may have a spare space and could take an additional participant?
Thank you
Lisa

Re: Innovation in social housing - case studies?
Jon, I agree. Having looked into things in more detail the number of batteries requried to store anything useful for a household would have taken up an entire standard sized shed, it seems. Much more sensible to use hot water to store the excess energy. Plus as Hazel says to educate people to make t...

Straight forward advice for LAs re ECO?
Dear canny CAN forum members, I confess to being confused. And so I seek assistance from my fellow CAN members; is there anywhere, online or otherwise, that is both independent and impartial that a LA employee can go for an up to date on what ECO looks like at the moment, what the changes mean to th...

Re: Warm Home Discount for park home sites and HMO's
In Wiltshire, I have been asked by a Member to look into this issue again - she is considering an equalities case against Ofgem and/or DECC and has discussed with the local MP to such effect. The original posts below were some time ago - has anyone since had any more experiences / complaints / comme...

Re: Is anyone linking EE and NEET agendas?
Hi Tom Thanks for that useful info, I have taken a look at the site and will email Phillipa. Ideally I'm looking at trying to support local SMEs through provision of trained, skilled young people rather than supplying a large national company like B Gas however the model is very interesting and I'm ...

Is anyone linking EE and NEET agendas?
The Government wants LAs to reduce numbers of young people NEET and has brought in legislation to Raise Participation Age (in education or training). Are any LAs looking at linking up: a)stimulating demand for EE measures, and therefore demand amongst employers for additional skilled posts, with b)i...

Innovation in social housing - case studies?
Hi, Does anyone have any experience of, or know where I can look up, case studies re. using renewables and "smart" technologies in social housing? For our own stock, we are looking at fitting out a cluster of properties that are off-gas (currently oil) with Quantum storage heaters (asset management'...
